Goff has been in business for over 3 decades specializing in and manufacturing a complete line of abrasive shot blast cleaning and peening equipment. The Blast Wheel assembly is the heart of every Goff machine. Each Goff blast wheel is equipped with premium cast blades. During the blast operation a measured flow of abrasive flows conƟ nuously through the feed spout into the impeller, which is rotating in synchronization on with the blast wheel. The abrasive accelerates within the impeller and is smoothly inserted onto the individual blades through a slot in the control cage. The positioning of the slot, which is adjusted by rotating the control cage, determines the direction of the blast stream and allows the “hot spot” to be easily set. An ammeter measures the actual flow of abrasive.

Environmental Abrasives (EA) has a patented process of recycling and comminuting (crushing) fused aluminum oxide ceramic (alumina) scrap to produce a wide spectrum of alumina grains and powders. This scrap material varies in alumina purity from 85% to 96%, with the remaining balance of primarily silicon dioxide and magnesium oxide. The size of industrial scrap can be as small as ½ cubic inch to nearly 1 cubic foot. Once comminuted, the mixture is classified and purified to generate refined abrasive grains and sprayable alumina powders, referred to as EA Alumina Grains and EA Alumina Powders.
